Marisa Roberto
Certified Classical Pilates Instructor
After practicing as a local veterinarian, Marisa decided to take a break from her profession, focus on family life, and raise her two young children. It was during that time that she discovered her love for Pilates. Marisa first decided to try Pilates in hopes to find balance and restore muscle strength after suffering from a neck and shoulder injury.

Pilates did just that, and more. She quickly became hooked on how empowered Pilates made her feel, both physically and mentally. The experience was so positive that she decided to pursue her Pilates certification in hopes to teach others this wonderful technique of personal fitness.
Marisa earned her bachelors from the University of Notre Dame in psychology and subsequently went on to earn a masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from Harvard’s MGH institute of Health in Boston. A few years later, she followed her love of animals by earning a doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of Pennsylvania. She completed her classical pilates education through Authentic Pilates Learning Center in Mahwah, New Jersey.
When Marisa is not at the studio you can find her at home reading a book, playing with her three Goldendoodles, watching her kids on the sports field, or at the beach in South Carolina with her family!
Kim Rogers
Certified Classical Pilates Instructor
With over 30 years in the fitness industry, Kim brings deep expertise in human movement and a passion for whole-body wellness. Her Pilates journey began after the birth of her second child, leading her to leave her role as a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant at St. Joseph’s Hospital to follow her true calling.

Kim earned her classical Pilates certification through Power Pilates, training with Susan Moran-Perich and Bob Liekens, and completed a 600-hour bridge program at Authentic Pilates in Mahwah. Her teaching blends classical Pilates with modalities like ELDOA, Feet-ness, Soma Training, Yoga, and Applied Neurology—creating a personalized, integrative approach focused on functional movement and individualized care.
Certified in ELDOA 4, Kim uses precise postures to decompress the spine, improve posture, and enhance mobility. She is also a certified Feet-ness instructor, emphasizing foot strength and alignment for better overall stability. Her studies in Soma Training and Applied Neurology deepen her understanding of biomechanics and the brain-body connection, helping clients move better, reduce pain, and perform at their best.
Kim’s work is rooted in anatomical precision, lifelong learning, and a holistic, brain-first approach that empowers people to move with ease, strength, and confidence.
